Once a month, designers and creatives from Brighton meet for a very slow 5k along the seafront. No Stravas. No pace pressure. No competitive nonsense.

We start at Gomi on Gloucester Street, run along the seafront, and then head to a local bar. That's it. Simple, low-key, and built around the idea that creativity thrives when people get together in person.

All disciplines welcome — graphic designers, UX designers, illustrators, photographers, filmmakers, developers. If you make things, this is for you.

Brighton has incredible creative talent — especially coming out of the university. But too many graduates leave the city after uni because there's no visible pathway into the local industry.

Creatives Run exists to close that gap. Every month, students and recent graduates run alongside industry professionals. Relationships form. Placements happen. People stay.

The more creatives we keep in Brighton, the more vibrant the creative scene becomes — new studios, new startups, new ideas, and a city that stays genuinely creative.

Each month, we commission a student or recent graduate to create the event artwork. That artwork then gets plastered across Brighton — posters, social media, word of mouth.

It's a brief with real stakes. The work represents Creatives Run across the city. A genuine way to get your work in front of the people who might hire you.
